The I Am Me Tour was held to promote Simpson's second album, I Am Me, the tour was a lot simpler than the previous tour, playing in rather intimate venues. Simpson had only two costume changes throughout the shows and sang songs from both records. The tour was scheduled between Simpson's busy promotion schedule for the album.

The "L.O.V.E. Tour" is the third concert tour performed by Ashlee Simpson, in support of her second studio album "I Am Me". The tours title is taken from the song L.O.V.E. on Simpson's album, the title is also a hybird for "Love Others, Value Everything". Much more production was featured on this tour, along with frequent costume changed. The shows were hosted mostly in large arenas and amphitheatres.

Before the release of Simpson's third studio album Bittersweet World, Simpson embarked on her first club tour to promote the single "Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)". The shows lasted around 20 minutes, with between 3 and 4 songs performed. After the release of Bittersweet World, a 12-date summer tour was scheduled; however due to Simpson's pregnancy the tour was canceled.
